About SPLAT Studio

Thanks to the good people at Paramount Sports Complex, Meghan Winslow and her creative energy has found a place to call
home. With the recent expansion and renovation of the sports complex, Meghan is able to offer a variety of classes to inspire
creativity for people of all ages.
Meghan holds a Master of Education degree in art education and has been teaching art classes to Paramount's Preschoolers and to
summer campers since Paramount began its camps their opening year in 2004. Prior to teaching at Paramount, Meghan was employed in the
Hanover Area School District and Donegal School District where she taught art classes to children in grades Kindergarten through Fifth
grade. After having her second son, she bitter-sweetly resigned from her teaching position to devote her full-time attention to
raising her and her husband's now four sons. With the "baby" now finishing first grade, Meghan finds herself in yet another
bittersweet transition and finds the studio to be a delightful distraction to not having a house full of little ones.
SPLAT Studio is the fruition of years of planning on behalf of Meghan. Much thought, care and creativity
went into the design of the logo and studio space.

important." - Meghan Winslow |
In the studio, paint can lights give the illusion that color is pouring out in the room. The paintbrush
cabinet handles and paint can art caddies look to inspire participants out-of-the-box thinking. Rainbow tie-dyed colored items decorate the
studio and elicit warm smiles and enthusiasm from many. The warm blue color of the room creates a nice backdrop to showcase many of the
student's artwork.
SPLAT offers classes for preschool children, school aged children, teens and adults. Meghan's focus is
teaching children's classes, birthday parties, ladies' night out and offering programs for groups. She also enjoys collaborating with professional artists who have an interest in
expanding their understanding of their medium through teaching others. Whether Meghan, a SPLAT staff member or a collaborating artist
is working with the students, all are guided to recognize and appreciate their own innate abilities.
Now entering SPLAT's second summer, Meghan has designed numerous summer art camps to provide children with
quality creative opportunities. Each camp offers a variety of art and craft materials and unique techniques for kids to experiment with as
they express themselves.

understand that in the art room there are many "right answers" to solving one problem." - Meghan Winslow |
